AlGore predicted sea levels could rise twenty feet, (An Inconvenient Truth) a prediction that has brought rebuke even from those sympathetic to the climate cause.
In the same book/movie, Al Gore prophesied that unless the world dramatically reduced greenhouse gasses, we would hit a “point of no return.”
In his book review of Gore’s effort, James Hansen unequivocally stated: “We have at most ten years—not ten years to decide upon action, but ten years to alter fundamentally the trajectory of global greenhouse emissions.”
Time is up on Gore’s “point of no return” and Hansen’s “critical tipping point.” But neither has owned up to their exaggeration or made new predictions—as if they will suddenly be proven right.

Dr. Hansen's is described by CBS' 60 Minutes as "arguably the world's leading researcher on global warming
Dr Hansen postulated that a rise in CO2 levels would cause global temperatures to rise also and that to prevent the rise in temperatures, CO2 levels needed to be capped.
30 years ago, he presented 3 scenarios with the temperature rise predicted by each of them.
A- Blue Line - 1.5% increase in CO2 with a temperatures up 1.9 C
B. Green Line - Constant CO2 Increase - with a temperatures rise up to 1.5 C
C. Red Line - If CO2s were capped, and the CO2 checked, a temperature rise of .07 C
Black Line is the actual temperatures that happened. CO2s increased at a 2.5% raise since 2000, but the surface temperatures are behaving as if they had been capped 18 years ago.
Note: The Black Line represents SAME FIGURES that Dr. Hansen would only be possible if we capped them! AND THEY WERE NOT CAPPED!
Furthermore, global temperatures rose only .06 C, so he was only wrong by 150% Source

In 1989, Noel Brown, then working for the UN in New York, stated: Global warming will wipe nations "off the face of the earth" by rising sea levels if climate change is not address by the year 2000.
Well, Mr Brown, it is now 2019, 19 years after your prediction and so fare no nation has been wiped from the earth.
Why Not? Probably because the sea levels only rose by 3.5 inches since 1993. (NASA)
The same Noel Brown also claimed that "Shifting climate patterns would bring back Dust Bowl conditions to Canadian and US wetlands."
Still waiting for that to happen.
